ya..listen to the douche bag that can't spell "the" and seperates everything with comma's

Most jobs don't require 5 years experience. They prefer it.

For example, the knob that just posted to lie got his job at Burger King without any experience at all.

Trend,

What did u get your degree in? I would suggest using the career center and job fairs at your university. I used campus recruiting to get my first job. It was very easy. I had my choice of 5 postions before my last semester. The companies came there knowing that you had no experience and were looking for entry level employees. I work in software so it might just b/c that field was so hot.

Hey Trend: I wouldn't suggest that you lie about your past job experience either. Just show up at the interviews and be more than what they expect, in terms of your presentation of self. Research about the co. and industry and let them know that you're serious about being the employee that they may not need today, but can benefit from tomorrow. Good luck with the job search - Hope you secure one soon!

Not only do I completely hear what you're talking about, I'm experiencing it myself right now. I've had my fair share of interviews, but no job yet. Self employment looks better and better every day, and should never be discounted if you feel you can handle it. Most of these companies like dicking people like you and me around, but they'll pay someday when they get fired and are working for guys like us :)
